FC YOUTH
We exist to direct students to the gospel of Jesus, develop them through the Word, and disciple them through life.
Wednesdays @ 6:30 PM and Sundays @ 9:30 AM | Upper Room
First Christian Youth is a junior high and high school ministry for ages 12-18. Our desire is to raise up a generation of godly young men and women that live passionately for Jesus and impact the world for His name. Apart from exhorting our students toward becoming Christian leaders, FC Youth also provides awesome community where teens find belonging and lifelong friendships.
We gather for Teen Night every Wednesday at 6:30 PM and Student Sundays at 9:30 AM in the Upper Room for fellowship, worship and the Word. We’d love to get to know your teen and walk with them through life!
About Our Youth Pastor
Victor, Kim, and their family have called the Imperial Valley home for 7 years, having relocated from Orange County. With over two decades of marriage and three teenagers actively involved in FCC Youth ministry they bring a wealth of family and ministry experience.
Their journey began at Calvary Church Santa Ana, where they both served in various capacities before embarking on a mission to impact lives beyond the church walls. Joining the OC Rescue Mission in 2011, they provided vital support to families in transitional housing, offering guidance and pointing them towards Christ. Additionally, they dedicated their time and effort to Apartment Life, acting as "campus pastors" for 800 residents at Lake Dianne Apartments in Santa Ana.
In 2017, following a period of sabbatical, Victor accepted a role at Gateway Church in Brawley, where he served in multiple capacities, including Worship and Outreach Director, until 2022.
Their decision to join FCC in 2022 was influenced by their deep appreciation for the youth ministry's impact on their lives. Now serving as interim youth ministers, Victor and Kim are excited to pour into the next generation, eagerly anticipating the ways God will work in and through the youth ministry. Their dedication to both the church and the broader community reflects their heartfelt commitment to spreading the love of Jesus wherever they go.
