OUR MISSION
OUR PURPOSE
The purpose of First Christian Church is found in Matthew 22:37-39, which says: “Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
We strive to love the Lord, learn His ways, and live for Him.
OUR PROCESS
FCC leadership’s aim is to do the following in order to fulfill God’s calling on our lives as shepherds of His flock:
Invite people to worship services
Involve people in small groups
Inspire people to serve others
OUR PEOPLE
First Christian Church does not have traditional membership where one “joins the church”. We expect those who regularly attend to B.E.L.O.N.G. and be committed to the body of Christ in this manner:
Become a Follower of Jesus Christ (John 3:16-21)
Embrace the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20)
Long for Spiritual Community (Acts 2:42-47)
Offer your Time, Talents & Treasure (II Corinthians 9:6-15)
Nurture Relationships with Others (Romans 12:9-18)
Grow in Spiritual Health and Maturity (2 Peter 1:3-11)
